     Thanks for your message and interest in Dancewise Studios!

     We run excellent Street Dance classes, which we’d love to tell you about. They are all based in our purpose-built studios in Hythe which is just 12 minutes from central Southampton.

     On Wednesday we run authentic Street Dance classes between 16:30 and 20:15, depending on the age and experience of the dancer. These are technique based classes that work through the foundations of the 5 original forms of street dance – Hip-Hop, Locking, Breaking, Popping and House, all danced to authentic Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop,Breakbeat and House music. They are great fun, and the steps are made accessible in the hands of our fully accredited and inspirational street dance teachers. If you ever wondered about these styles we have created a friendly, safe and social environment in which to try them. Learn to Freestyle in days, not years! Learn to choreograph amazing routines in seconds. Feel the incredible high you get dancing to these social dances with other likeminded people to great tunes. If you’re looking for the Authentic experience, it doesn’t get any more authentic!

     But enough about us, tell me a bit more about you and what you need. Do you and Nicole have any prior dance experience? What are you looking to get out of the class?

     All this helps to paint a picture of your needs from our classes, and helps us to recommend the perfect class for you.

     We are very proud of the experience we offer at Dancewise Studios and are confident you’ll have a great time in whichever class you choose, however to make things easier we encourage people to try before you buy with one of our Free Trials. These need to be booked in advance, however, once this is done you are set to come along and dance for free. We make sure we are available to welcome you when you arrive and show you round, introduce you to your teacher and answer any last minute questions you may have on the day. Then we meet you from your class to see how it went and talk you through the enrollment process if that was something you were interested in doing.

   Hello, I am 17 years of age and am eager to start street dance. I used to do a bit of street dance when I was younger and now I feel like I need to get myself out there and go for it and try it again. Is there any spaces free for the Southampton based studio on the Thursday?

     Hi Jordon, we have space in our Hythe Wednesday class or our Whiteley Friday class if either of those would work for you?
