At Dancewise Studios, the safety and wellbeing of our students, team, and guests remains our absolute priority.
Following recent roof and ceiling water ingress, Dancewise Hythe is currently operating building repairs and is temporarily unable to run in-person classes at the studio while repair work is completed.
This is a changing situation, and we are working closely with contractors to ensure the building is safe, dry, and fully suitable for dancing before returning to studio teaching.
💻 Classes for This Weekend
After carefully considering all available options, we have planned a schedule that allows students to continue learning while minimising disruption and maintaining high-quality tuition.
Some classes will continue online, while a small number of sessions have been adjusted for this week only.
Where classes are cancelled, make-up tuition has been scheduled within the March timetable.
Large rehearsal sessions involving formation work, group movement patterns, and interaction between students have been paused for this weekend. We believe students will gain the greatest learning value from these rehearsals when they are able to work directly and safely together in person.

🏗 Building Work Update
Repair work is continuing, including ceiling repairs, roof repairs, and electrical safety testing to ensure the building is fully ready for our return.
Based on information currently available from our contractors, we are cautiously hopeful about returning to studio teaching next week. However, please wait for confirmation from us before assuming in-person classes will resume.
As with all building projects, timelines can change, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding while work is completed.
