Classes
Dancewise offers classes for all ages and abilities - whether you want to come just for fun or if you are a serious dance student. Classes take place at Manor School in Holbury where we have a large hall, smaller studio, changing area, waiting area and ample free car parking.
As well as group classes, we also offer private coaching. Dancewise offers workshops and annual reports for every student. Parents get to watch their children in action in special classes as well as in the annual show and other public performances.
The show gives students the chance to show off what they have learnt and includes the presentation of awards for outstanding achievement. Check out the 2008 show page for a review of Dancewise's most recent show, “These are the Days”.
We have classes for every ability from complete beginners to advanced/professional level. ISTD Grades and Majors are syllabus-based classes leading to optional examinations. Junior, Intermediate, Senior, Open or Adult classes are all more relaxed. Students are more than welcome to attend any classes but need to be aware of the uniform code and concentration required within Grade or Major classes.
Boys are very welcome at any classes.
If you/your child is unable to attend, please try to let the Principal know, in advance if possible.
